Since 2014 and the launch of the Third Industrial Revolution, the Université Catholique de Lille has been a forceful participant in regional dynamics concerning energy through its Live TREE project, developing a systemic approach to the varied issues, particularly on its Lille campus, which is expected to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Actions for climate
Live TREE is an initiative of the Université Catholique de Lille and its establishments. Through their collective efforts they accelerate the pace of the energy and social transition. A dozen demonstrator projects are in development around campus, concerning energy, mobility, and even the urban landscape.
ECOPOSS Biennale 2022
ECOPOSS: “Raise the future!”
The Université Catholique de Lille has recently launched a dynamic new project called ECOPOSS involving all sectors of society.
The first ECOPOSS Biennale, to be held from Wednesday 26 October to Sunday 30 October 2022, will be the first major event of this dynamic process, and an occasion for a positive, ethical confrontation with scenarios of the future.
